Team Formation

Teams are created based on the skill level of the player using evaluation information.  The CoMBA Evaluation committee has the best interests of the player and team as a whole when placing players.  We will not accept requests to play on a specific team as each player is placed where they will have the most opportunity to grow.  The intention is to place teams of similar skill level together to create a fun and competitive season.

Practices

Practice is one day a week and scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.  The day is determined by coach and gym availability.

Once practice days are determined, we attempt to keep practice nights consistent for each team from week to week.  However, due to varying gym availabilities, there are some weeks where times and locations may differ.

Games

Played on Saturdays in Calgary within the Calgary Minor Basketball (CMBA) league.  These games are scheduled by the CMBA and can be in any quadrant of the city.  Please see the CMBA website for details:  https://www.cmba.ab.ca/

Game and practice schedules are posted on the Team RAMP app and players are expected to update availability each week.

**Age category has been extended to 18 if the player is born in September through December of 2005 and provides proof that they currently attend high school.
