Cochrane Minor Basketball Association (CoMBA) has received Alberta Basketball Association (“ABA”) approval to run some scaled-back fall programming. While we do not have access to School gyms for the fall, through Spray Lakes Sawmills Family Sports Centre (“SLSFSC”), CoMBA will be offering the following programming:

Tykes Thursdays 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm November 12 to Dec 17 cost $95
CoMBA programming has been set up so that each group will be its own sport cohort. Current ABA guidelines allow for individual drills, group drills and game play within your cohort.
In order to comply with ABA and SLSFSC Return to Play Guidelines, we ask that you familiarize yourself with the following documents. Of particular importance is SLSFSC’s Return to Play Agreement page 6 with directions on how to access the gym area. A contact tracing log will be kept and Athletes’ parents will be asked to complete an attestation form before each training session. U11 to U18 athletes are asked to bring their own basketball and water bottle. If an athlete does not have a basketball CoMBA will lend a basketball to the athlete for the duration of their program, however it will be the athlete’s responsibility to clean the basketball between sessions. Guidance for Tyke players and equipment will be sent out prior to the program start date.
