CoMBA Summer Small Group Training

3rd Annual Small Group Summer Program (summer 2026)

Dates: June 29 - July 24
Length: 4 Weeks
Location: Spray Lakes Sawmills Family Sports Centre

Our Small Group Summer Training returns for its 3rd annual year, continuing to provide Cochrane athletes with a high-level development environment focused on skill work, repetition, and individualized coaching.

This program is designed for athletes who want to seriously improve their game during the summer while training in a structured and competitive environment.

Athletes will train in small groups of 6 players, allowing coaches to provide detailed instruction, feedback, and individualized development.

Athlete Eligibility

This program is open to athletes entering Grades 4-12 in the fall season.

Groups will be formed based on:

  • grade level
  • skill level
  • training goals

This ensures athletes train in a competitive and appropriate development environment.

Why Join This Program?

Our Summer Small Group Training is designed for athletes who want to take the offseason seriously and commit to improving their game.

The offseason is where real development happens. Athletes who are willing to put in consistent work during the summer often see the biggest improvements when the season begins.

With small training groups, athletes receive more repetitions, direct coaching, and individualized feedback during every session. This allows coaches to adjust drills and teaching points to best support the development of each athlete.

Athletes will train with experienced coaches and current college athletes who are committed to helping players improve while also promoting discipline, accountability, and a strong work ethic.

The goal of this program is not just to run workouts, but to create an environment where athletes learn how to train, how to compete, and how to build habits that lead to long-term development.
